How much do Unidentified Armors go for? - Guild Wars Forums

I got 2 in Dragons lair and was just wondering how much a person is willing to pay for 1

If you mean unIDed salvage items, then generally it has been 3k for purple, 15k for gold. But I really haven't been playing too much, so I don't know if it has changed.

now days 1k for purple 5k-10k for gold unID armor. I just go ahead and expert salv the item w/o IDing it and it comes up as either minor major or superior unID rune. Be happy if you get unID Sup Vigor which runs upwards to 75k because once u ID it, it unlocks in PvP/GvG whatever

Hmm. I think that not salvaging at all is the best. That just leaves for more of that mystery factor, and its more like opening a present. Plus, if you expert salvage it to the point where it says "ranger rune" etc, only people of that profession will be interested in buying (generally). You appeal to more people with the un IDed armor. But whatever, I always sell major and minor un IDed for 1k ea. Regardless of rarity, etc.

so my UnID Superior Necro Rune is worth somewhere in the 60K-75K range?

with the new system now that allows your PvP player to purchase runes i would think these items would much cheaper now?

More like 10k. If you'll realize most sup necro runes are less then 5k. I'd Id my gold armors though, you'll find a sup vigor or absorption fast, providing you get alot of the gold armors via farming.

EDIT: Yes, I forgot about faction. Basically, unidentified runes are dirt cheap now.

that's the impression I was under. I thought the new faction system killed the market for UnIDed runes.
